Exercise Metrics


In this guide we will cover what are exercise metrics, and how to add /change them in your platform
What are Metrics? 
Metrics are how your customers can log and track their workouts in our new Workout Log feature.

You can choose from 4 different metrics for each exercise: "Reps", "Weight", "Duration", and "Distance".

The Personal Best Tracking feature gives the customer a little "Congratulations" pop up when they achieve their new best for the selected metric.



For example a Dumbbell Bicep Curl you would choose "Reps" and "Weight", as metrics, and the Personal Best would probably be "Weight".

A "Plank" would probably just be "Duration".

A "Shuttle run" would probably be "Duration" and "Distance" and maybe distance would be Personal Best.

Adding Metrics
  • Search for exercises - tick "Published" and "Metrics are empty" to find the exercises you need to add to.
  • You will need to edit all of these.
  • Within the individual exercise, scroll down to the Metrics area. If there are none previously entered, the box will be blank. if there are some already there you will be able to see them.
  • You have 4 options to choose from: Reps, Weight, Duration, Distance
  • You can choose as many as you think are relevant to the exercise.
  • Personal Best Tracking must be one of the selected metrics.
