Dining out Feature

Dining out Feature:

The Dining Out feature acts as a guide for when your customers decide to eat out.

It is currently available for New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom, Canada, South Africa and the United States.

As Dining Out is not automatically turned on, please contact support@macroactive.com if you would like to have this feature enabled.

The Dining Out button can be located when opening a meal from the meal plan.

This allows the feature to use the customer's calorie and macro targets from this particular meal to bring up appropriate meals from the dining out database.

Customers are also asked if they would like to skip any other meals to increase their calorie budget for dining out.

A list of restaurants will appear according to the customer's country and calorie budget - if the particular restaurant does not have a meal or snack that fits the customer's calorie budget, it will not appear in the list.

When a restaurant is selected, only the meals, snacks or menu items that fit the calorie budget will appear.

If a menu item is selected that does not satisfy the full requirements, the list will shrink to show menu items that meet the remaining calorie requirements (e.g. sides/sauces/drinks)

Just note, the dining out feature is a guide only. It will simply show the dining out meal's contribution towards the customer's calorie and macro targets.

At the moment, it is not possible to log a dining out meal but it is in the planning stage for the future!

The idea of dining out is to help your customers select appropriate meals that are in line with their requirements and goals when they dine out.

We are always working to expand our dining out database so please contact support@macroactive.com if you have any requests.
